Got a friend who used 799 with 0.6 sponge on a BTY Kenny pro blade, he is 60 odd and attacks with FH Yanus DF 2mm and blocks and lifts with backhand, Lifting is a semi deffensive shot slow low and controlling. But we think he needs something a little spinier thinkig still soft maybe narrow pips and grippy. He wants to attack more also

Can I get a few suggestions please

Greggy

Maybe the TSP Millitall 2 with a 0.3-0.6 sponge would work

Stiga Radical will be faster with a lot more spin-it is a sticky pip and the pips are fairly flexible. It will not give him any disruption though.

799 in a thicker sponge! Say 1.5mm soft sponge, will do what he is asking for, which is give it excellent attacking possibilities. I think 799 is a wonderful attacking rubber with nice touch and control. HRS sponge (35 degrees) works fine. Palio GP3 (30-35 degrees) is very nice. The blocking and lifting will still be there but hitting will really be good and control will increase versus heavy incoming spin. There will be an increase in speed as well.
