I know that the new german champion shan xiao na is playing with hexer pips i think she used to play with 802 90% sure, so whats the best setup for hexer pips mtaching 802 , please dont send me to the hexer pip thread that is confusing... whats the difference of the pips in hexer pip and hexer pips+

pls specify which versions of 802? 802-40, 802, 802-1. 802-40 is most close to inverted rubber. If u refer 802-40, hexer pips is similar in term of pips shape and size. but the raw material of 802 is different from hexer. referred to red rubber, u can see.

to compare hexer pips and hexer pips+, the main differences are pips size, pips shape, pips spacing.

The three Hexer versions are all far spinnier than any Friendship SP. Friendhsip 802 and 802-1 are (on a scale 0-10) around 6.5 to 7 in spin, and 802-40 is around 7.5 to 8, but all Hexers are close to 9. Hexer Pips is the slowest of the three, around 9; Hexer Pips+ is just over 10, and Hexer Force too, which makes them about as fast as 802 and 802-40; 802-1 is around 9 to 9.5. Control is a very subjective thing, so I won't try and estimate that. The essential difference between the Friendship and the Andro pips is that all Friendship Sp's, being hard and fast and relatively low in spin, very effectively allow a classic, flat-hitting and fast-blocking style, whereas the Andro Sp's are not quite that effective if used for just that, because they are softer and spinnier which makes them react more to incoming spin and produce less pimples effect. With classic Sp's the advantage you have is based on the fact that your strokes are essentially punches, very short and contacting the ball early, so you gain time on an opponent who needs longer strokes; in a series of quick returns you can take away his control over the ball and the rally this way. With Hexer pips you often need a somewhat longer stroke, putting a bit spin on the ball, so your advantage is less. But it is easier to vary your attacks with them and it is also easier to use more power with them. In the end it is probably a matter of preferring precision/finesse over power in the rallies if you choose a Friendship.

As for Shan Xiao Na, most Chinese female player prefer SP's with a soft and powerful sponge, because it gives them the speed they need. Precision is not a problem for them; they can be precise with anything. So I would guess that she changed from 802-40 to the fastest Hexer.
