BH: Viper 0.5mm
A knuckle ball is a shot with no spin...maybe with a little wobble too. I think the term originates with baseball but I'm not sure...

The TSP website lists SpinPips with chop sponge in 1.0, which I personal feel is more realistic for chopping (at least for us mere motals).

Might have to add this to my EJ test list. :D

Odd. I find that it is easier to chop with 1.5 than 1.0 sponge. I find that the extra thickness keep the ball off the blade, which for me is a better feel.

To be honest I've never tried 1.5 pips. Being an OX and 0.5 player I'm used to the blade effect.

The reason I generally prefer .05 (or even OX) compared to 1.0 is more spin reversal. Identical strokes return different spin, due to the incoming spin. This effect catches out even the world's top players.

1.5 short pips would be great to hit with as well, so if it really did chop with lots of control...? I imagine it's way harder.

Hi guys, Im a short pips chopper and I would like to try Spinpips chop rubber. Since Im using VS401 on forehand, and thats already quite heavy rubber, I wanted to know if I should buy Spinpips 1,2 or 1,5. Im wondering if the dense sponge in 1,2 would be enough to keep the ball away from the blade when chopping fast ones.
5jd33 you have a sheet in 1,2 but I am not sure if you tried it
