As far as I know, the -40 is the grippiest, the -1 has its pips further apart and the regular 802 is somewhere in the middle. |

If you want to impart spin on the ball, I would start out with 802 or 802-40, depending on how much spin you want. I'm not very experienced with SPs in OX, but the rubbers are cheap. I would recommend starting in the middle, see if you like/what you're missing from the rubber, then get another one. I have no experience with the Dr. Evil rubber. |

I would go with Evil for ox. I haven't tried 802 ox but 563 and it felt awkward. 802 and 802-1 are quite hard top sheets so the ball would bounce off the bat very quickly. I think it would be difficult to impart spin on the ball or even to feel the ball on the bat. Dr Evil is made for playing without sponge and it works very well for that kind of game. Like an LP but not as much spin reversal and much more control in attacks. If you want to try a RITC SP in ox I would guess 799 is better. Thin base sheet ant pips are a little longer and softer, gives you more feeling I would guess. |

2nd dr evil, it very easy to use for chopping, and good at blocking, cause it slow. Note, cause I dont like ox, I add Tulpe 0.6 mm sponge behind it. I seldom driving, while demanding inverted like drive style, the return quite surprising for the opponent, flat and fast. |
