Came across this thread after swapping to this style myself and doing a search!

The Thomas Bennborn videos got me to try the SP/LP defense combo, and like tradesman I'm finding much better success with it than using an inverted forehand.

Right now I've got the super spinpips chop 2 1.8 on the forehand. I had been using the joola ultra express, but the catapult was pretty strong (coming from tackiness chop).

Chopping/pushing anything off the table or below net height -- and smashing home any floaters sent up too high at the table! Seems like a great style to use and very fun to play. There's a big difference in spin comparing the SP to LP, so no worries there about being stuck with dead balls all the time.

* In fact tradesman, funny I commented after you in the badman reloaded thread today :D Both gave that rubber a try as well. Might be dopplegangers!
