Blade: ah cr penhold
FH: Palio power dragon
BH: Palio flying dragon
Hello all I'm new here. I use a 1 ply California redwood Chinese penhold blade from American hinoki. I'm looking for anyone that has used either Palio power dragon or legend 105. I have both but want to know which is best for my forehand?

I've used them both and would take Legend 105 over any Palio SP, though I'd take my current TSP Super Spinpips 21 over the Legend 105. Pairing any fast SP with a single-ply Cypress blade is going to be interesting.. I predict a troubling lack of ball feel that will lead to poor control, and SPs require precise control to hit that narrow window opening. In my testing I found that stiff, hard, solid-core blades (no Balsa) work best. Single-ply Cypress blades are among the softest-feeling blades available (next to single-ply Balsa).

I have used, and like 105, although I preferred it as a BH rubber. However, with a soft blade like yours, I think it'd be much too mushy and hard to control/feel.

I think a traditional SP with no sponge would work beautifully. 799 or 802 would be my recommendation, or maybe Dr Evil.

It must just be preference but I prefer the no feel to the feel. I have much more control with the single ply. I have two other blades that are stiff that I do like a lot just not as much as the single ply. Tell me more about the tsp super spinpips.
