I have an old 799 circa 1998 but i see the pips are barely spaced and it plays like a smooth rubber.is the new 799 pips more separated like 802 new topsheet? old 802 pips were closer

Photos please. Use a flatbed scanner, set resolution to 1200x1200 dpi and reduce the scan area to 2x2 cm.

Why not buy a new 799 and photograph it next to the old 799? Cheap:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/RITC-72 ... 21461.html

Seems to be available only on OX though... And they claim it's medium pips.

If it were something expensive I would have similar worries, but considering that it's cheap and you only need one sheet, why not just get one, find out, and tell us?
