Any comparisons between SP Ax and Victas Vo<102 ? I know they are pretty similar but which one is the spinniest ? Which one is harder ? Sponge of Vo102 37.5deg and SP Ax 40deg but the topsheet can change everything.

I happen to have experience of both SP Ax and Victas Vo<102. Besides I am a FH short pips player like you. My advise is that don't change to SP Ax if you already use 102.

1. Sponge hardness: By finger pressing only, 102 is a little bit softer than SP Ax.

2. Spinny: Similar

3. Speed: 102 is faster

4. Control: This is the beautiful part of 102. You can feel that 102 sponge sucks the ball inward and let you feel secure about what your doing. Then push the ball out with good speed. You won't get that kind of balance between speed and control from SP Ax. Don't change to SP Ax if you already use 102.

Thank you !

Boosted my Vo102 and it was a bad choice. Even with a booster which is supposed to not soften the sponge I feel like it was a tad softer therefore when making hardshots the sponge was bottoming out. Glued a brand new Rakza Po I had in stock to replace it and Holy Moly ! A bit slower than non boosted Vo102 but more controllable in every aspect ! I Don't know if I will come back to Vo102 when my Rakza Po will be gone.

I guess everyone has different playing style. I also have a Rakza Po but after playing few times, still feel not good for me. I even brought a Yasaka MA LIN SOFT Carbon (Mattias Falck's previous blade) to fit it. Still can't make myself like it. Different people has different taste. This makes table tennis interesting.

Maybe it's because I transitionned to Vo102 boosted to Rakza Po. If I transitionned from Vo102 unboosted I'd notice less differences in control. It seems arc is a bit shorter on the Rakza Po, therefore a bit safer but again, perhaps it comes from the boost of the Vo102.

Vo102 and Rakza Po still feel quite similar, more testing needed.
