hello all! first post here and already asking for help.. what a shame, but here it goes.
im looking for a blade to use, with stiga royal short pips. ive been using stiga allround classic, and i want more speed. im undicided betwen stiga clipper wood and senkoh 5, any feedbacks ?
senkoh is faster, due to the smaller dwell time, and the handle would be a bonus, but i dont really know the size of the head, which people say is quite small, and ive heard so many good things about clipper, i feel quite confused...
i play cpen, close to table blocking and counter atacking.basically, i wish i could play like he zhi wen
btw, im probably buying at dandoy-sports, if its usefull.
thank you for reading, and thanks for the forum, really nice and big :P

Welcome to the forum kzaris!

I'll move this post to the short pips section, as you're more likely to get some advice from there people there.

No probs!

I you look around in this section, you may already find your answer anyway... I know the stiga royal was discussed... if you can't find it, there is a search at the top of the page...

Aren't that step too big? you know, you have many intermediate blades between AR Classic and Clipper, Clipper is supposed to be the fastest all-wood on the classic line...

You can go AR Evolution/AR CR, Offensive Classic, OC CR and Clipper (don't use WRB if you don't like head heavy blades).

As far as I can remember, He Zhi Wen's using an old PF4 blade now, a 032 (ALL) I think.

My wife uses a Nittaku Zeke with Radical, it works great, it might be good with Royal too.

If you already use Chinese penhold, not sure why you'd want to change tri a Japanese penhold blade like the Senkoh-5. The head is about 7-8 mm shorter on the Senkoh-5 as well, I found that hard to get used to.

The regular Clipper is fast, but not superfast. Avoid the Clipper CR though. Besides the coating it is also 1 mm thicker (6.8 vs 5.8mm).

I use Avalox 700 albeit SH and I have been very satisfied with it.

You might consider it (just like Liu Guoliang in the 1995 Worlds).

I have heard that the avalox blade almost is the same as the persson power speed. atleast almost the same. What do you guys think about that?
