I play at one club where the conditions are fast with inverted on both sides.

I play at another club where conditions are slow with an inverted LP combo.

I play lower rated players with my weak hand (my skill level 1300-1500) with inverted rubber or my strong hand using a hard bat . Or I use some other combo with anti, SP's etc.

I play doubles with inverted on both sides regardless of club conditions.

Yes it does cause me consistency problems with the changes but it keeps the boredom to a minimum while getting my aerobics workout.

That's good LOOPOVER. It really would be good to work the left arm and body symmetrically...

For about six months I played shakehand at the club and cpen with my friends. I very slowly began to prefer cpen. I wish several remaining questions would settle themselves too. Maybe a similar approach: one setup at the club and one against my friends.

For variety or for exploration, yes, but for competition I agree with Fab and with my favorite pros who have stuck to one combo.

Well I was waiting for Isy to reply Gollum :? ...

Sorry for jumping in dude.

just looking over the last couple of posts, and you know what, why not have a few different bats, especially if your testing things out OR if you are able to play different styles...sometimes people progress in a number of ways or they just can't progress any further in a single direction...the best guy in my club says its ok to be both a chopper AND a blocker, and if you can do that then why not, and then there's the equipment...some opponents are very good at not allowing you to chop, because they have such quick powerful strokes and placement, that the only option is to play at the table and pushblock, and vice versa, some opponents are so good at slow looping and are use to lp blocks that there is no way to stay at the table with these take-their-time loopers that you have to drop back and chop...and of course its more fun to have different setups in your bag!

If you're using a really sticky rubber, you can pick the ball up no problem :D

Have you ever tried to toss from a really sticky rubber?

Anyway, you are supposed to toss from your free hand.
2.05.06 - The free hand is the hand not carrying the racket; ...

You put the left racket on the table, serve, then pick it up... ;)
