Hey there, the last time I played a tt game was back in January.
Well, the last time I *tried* to train seriously was back in October or November.
I've never been taught very well by the coaches in the school, which is the main reason why my form isnt correct. Playing table tennis was only a hobby for me back when I was a kid, and when as time went on I went to the varsity level of our high school. But the thing is, I've never really developed the basics of the game, I just win points thanks to blocking and defense. Rarely by looping underspin and attacking. I'd always overhear my coaches say that my form is correct, although not teaching what the proper form would be. Thanks to this, I've developed a dislike for the game through time, and stopped playing the sport I really loved back when I was in grade school.

Gist of this is, I'm going to trying to play in different clubs with different coaches this summer since I have more free time as compared to last year. So, is it possible that one would forget his muscle memory and try to learn the basics even with years of experience? What certain training procedures would you also recommend for me? Would it just be hours of playing and gaining experience with high level players? Or having multi ball sessions with an experienced coach?

Thanks for helping me out! Cheers

Take a lesson and have the coach evaluate your game and tell you what you need to work on.

I think if you choose a coach and PAY for a lesson, that coach can tell you more about where and how to go the a hundred Games against others. After that, do multi ball with that coach to work on form.
