You hear a lot of people doing training camps in Europe like WSA. So we offer anything like it state side? If so what are the better ones to go to?

Alameda TTC is one of 10 Nationals Centers of Excellence.

Summer Camps are run by USATT National level coach Pieke Franssen. Previously as Dutch Olympic and national team coach Pieke worked with several Dutch players who were top 20 in the world. His players won a number of international medals including Gold in singles and team at the European Championships. Attending this summer are South American Doubles Champion Matias Contreras and Wuhan player Bin Ni.

More recently, Pieke has coached 3 Alameda juniors into top 10 US ranking by age.

Aziz Zarahbin achieved a high raking of #1. His brother Kai achieved #3. Avery Chan achieved a ranking of #6.

Last month for the second year in a row one of Pieke's young players was selected to represent the US at the North American Championships.

Avery won The 2016 LA Hopes tournament, while Tina Chen won the 2015 Western Region Hopes tournament.

Our 3 mains camps are listed here: http://alamedattc.org/2016SummerCamps.htm

For students over 1000 we have camps all summer long with the exception Nationals week. Please call or email for details on our other camps.

Thanks Alpha! Very informative. Seems as if there are so many great places in and around the bay area.

How are they doing with adults? Are there any at your summer camp, or it's 99% kids?

Check websites of major TT centers on the east coast: Maryland TTC, Lily Yip, Westchester. I believe all of them run summer camps. Did not attend any of these in person, unfortunately (but would love to!).

Thanks, I get the impression these are geared more towards kids but I'll inquire anyway. You would think there would be a market for such thing. Camps and group training are as beneficial as individual lessons and they are cheaper.

We tend to have a mix in our camps. Maybe 75% kids, but that varies from camp to camp. Keep in mind many of our "kids" are teens who are over 2000.
