Different, lighter, faster, plays just a little more like an inverted rubber, Best Anti does not!

Best anti is definitely better for a safer, more defensive b/h style of play, i had similar problems as you, which made me take the same route!

Both will enable you to manipulate/kill spin and give great control!

Oh, i have some used and new Best anti to sell if you are interested!

Yes, if you are looking to still play as if you have b\h inverted, AANA will be more versatile in use than the Best Anti, if you are not bothered by the fact that it is faster, about the same as an inverted, (i was because my b/h was my weak point, on serves and in play!) then you will enjoy it, i did tame it on a slower blade, if you look back at my earlier post you will find this is a really versatile rubber, it will help receiving serves, great for, chopping, attacking back spin, blocking (watch the speed), spin manipulation, serves are dangerous to your opponent and you will get some reversal and get dumps into the net! I like this rubber, if you have good all round skills you will like it!

Best anti requires you to have more of a mindset akin to having an LP with a more disciplined, tighter, structured game, it nullifies what you can do (and your opponent too)!
Hope this helps!

Received this rubber today. Have had a hit with it already. Very good rubber-negates spin but can still attack. Does play very much like an inverted ,however, can attack spinny balls whether backspin or topspin. It has more control than the pips I have tried.

I take it you are talking about the Armstrong New Anti?

Yes it is a really good versatile rubber, try the inverted type topspin serves, easy points for you! You shouldn't be that bothered receiving serve either now. What blade have you got it on? How is the speed for you?

I am pleased that your 1st impressions are positive, in that case i think it might just be the right one for you! It definitely suits the allround player with good f/h an b/h skills/shots, do you agree?

In matchplay it was very good on service returns and good on serves. It struggled from mid distance and looping etc.
