That's weird! Why would they not submit it as an anti..

Technically, it may be dubious whether they are anti or not; Meteor just views them as "in" and ranks their spin value as 70:

http://eacheng.net/index.php?act=detail&ID=2018
http://eacheng.net/index.php?act=detail&ID=2019
http://eacheng.net/index.php?act=detail&ID=2020
But a Dutch webshop considers them to be anti:
http://vrocosport.nl/default.asp?pageid ... r=4,23,127
http://vrocosport.nl/default.asp?pageid ... r=4,23,127
So does a shop in Belgium:

And one in Germany:
http://www.yatego.com/q,meteor,835
And another, very reputable one:
http://www.schuett-sport.de/index.php/c ... _Anti.html
And there are more.
Are they anti? I guess they are as much anti as a Hallmark Frustration is as much an LP as is/was a Neubauer Superblock...

Having played with the non tacky version they are closer to reflectiod than anti. On the other hand with a little assistance Juic Neo-Antiloop can be a very nice combination of conventional inverted and anti-loop.

The 835 is no anti at all. You can't give dead stops and it is to grippy.
It is a cheap rubber that gives you a lot of control, but no effect and it is very slow.

What is an anti rubber or not is a matter of definition and somewhat arbitrary, but as this rubber - in your words - gives no effect, it should qualify. That it is cheap should be a plus. Still, I understand your remark; if you expect it to reverse incoming spin well (and the values attributed to it feed that expectation) you will be disappointed. Perhaps a different category of rubber should be named: no-spin rubbers.

The 835 is way too grippy. I hate it.

Chinese players won't buy an anti spin rubber.
All they have to do is buy a cheap tacky inverted rubber
and the tack will rapidly disappear as they are so not durable
