Hi everybody !

I wrote to Carsten Neubauer, asking about anti with best reversal. This was his answer :

"Dear Mr. Zeiffert,

Thank you for your email.
The Anti-Spin rubber that produces the best spin reversal would be our 'Gorilla'.
'Gorilla' is available with a dampening sponge that considerably reduces the speed and enhances control.
It should be a good alternative for your game.
The rubber is available with 1.2, 1.5 and 1.8mm (all dampening sponge).
I would recommend the version with 1.2 or 1.5mm.

Our blade 'Kung Fu' is indeed very effective with our Anti-Spin rubbers.
It is an ALL- blade that enables very short blocking with good spin reversal.

In case you were looking for a blade that is a bit faster (for forehand attack) but still very effective for blocking with our Anti-Spin rubbers I would recommend our blade 'Bulldog'.

Of course please do not hesitate to contact us again for any further questions!

Best regards

Carsten Neubauer"

I don't know. I tried A-B-S at some trainings, but it was really different playing anti vs long pips OX.
I think I have more deception and effect with pimples. But i will maybe try the new Inferno Classic when it's out.
And maybe i will try some short pips on FH to see if i like it. Never tried before. But with my EJ'ing, don't be surprised if i buy Gorila too :p

Have you tried an old sheet of Butterfly Superanti? It offers very good reversal with a stiff slow blade. You can also try the GiantDragon Guard Special after it is well used.

I just recieved a mail with the answer for this question.
This is what Carsten wrote :

Dear Mr. Zeiffert,

Thank you for your email.
Our new generation of Anti-Spin rubbers produces a very good spin reversal on topspin balls with a lot of rotation.
However a "wobbling" effect is only produced with long pimple rubber.
In our product range our long pimple rubber 'Inferno Classic' is most effective in that regard.
The version without sponge (OX) produces the best blocking, while the versions with 0.6 and 1.0mm provide more control and better attacking possibilities.

Best regards

Carsten Neubauer

I'm a little surpirsed by this answer... I though the ABS and ANti-Special would have had he most reversal.

Hi haggisv,
Carsten Neubauer's answer was absolutely correct. I have tried ABS 1,2 mm, Anti-Special 1,2 mm and Gorilla 0,6 mm coverings, and I can say Gorilla have had the most reversal.
ABS has small reversal against loopings and good control against no spin balls.
Gorilla has huge reversal against loopings. It is extraordinary among antis, but I always lost my control regarding to no spin ball.
Too much free of charge game for my opponents, and I did not have patience to learn the handling against no spin balls.

I would be curious How does Gorilla work with the new ABS's sponge?
