Can't remember for sure but that might be the one I used to use 30 years ago. If it is, it is slippery as a table top and dead as they come. I started playing again in 2003 and took off the last anti I had from the old days. BTY Super Anti Special is the slickest one I have found since but none of the ones out there now are as dead (good) as the old one. :D

I also played for a while with skriver killer 25 years ago. In fact I still have the sheet. It was incredible slippery, smooth as a babys bottom and also very slow. Its sensitivity to incomming spin was practically none. On the other hand you could not produce any spin at all yourself so it was a pure defence weapon.

I am pretty sure that is the one,,,Shriver Killer. There were not too many others around. Seemiller used it also.
If Shriver Killer Speed is a one,,,BTY Super Anti "Special" would be a 1 1/2 or two at the most. It is slick. If Killer was a one for spin,,,I would give the Bty "Special" a 1 1/2 also.
Either one will return a mirror image of any spin coming in especially on serve return. Since I hit on my backhand with my primary side but can just roll my arm over for the anti (or LP) When I get junk serves to the backhand, I return with the anti. Then they have to deal with their own spin in reverse. Then they try to serve to my forhand. Thats when I hide the bat below the table.

So these anti's of the past are alot more dangerous.

Kind of like the frictionless we have now

@Hookshot: your game is totally wicked

If your tournament requires rubbers on the current ITTF list, you can't use it as it is no longer authorized. Logic would dictate that once you buy an authorized rubber you should be able to use it as long as you want, but alas that is not the case and many of us have been force to abandon our favorite rubbers over the years. :(

My favourite anti, a bit like super anti, but with a harder sponge (yellow if I remember correctly). It's slower than the modern antis, but was / is a little faster than the original toni hold anti.

I am slowly working back to using Seemiller grip. I have BTY Super Anti on the backside. I find it "almost as good" as the old Sriver Killer. If I could still use the Killer, I would but Super Anti is close enough. I can block real hard loops and get reversal. It returns serves real well. It drives my training partner nuts. I can drive through backspin. I can twiddle and hit any high ball. Those do not come back. Hitting a high topspin ball with the anti gives a ball with a "little" chop. The ball is fast, flat and hard to return. If you hit an incomming, high spin brush loop that he got too high, your ball will hit the table and curve UP! Chopping on my backhand by rolling the forarm is so easy. The more spin on the loop, the more chop goes back. Useing a lift stroke instead of a chop gives dead balls back.

Hello!

I am pleased to hear people still looking for the trusty Sriver Killer. I have the very same rubber I bought in 1990, played it on BH side with Tackiness Drive on FH. I stopped using it some years back when they disallowed same colored rubbers. I am now using Butterfly Super Anti but its just too fast. The old S Killer can stop the strongest spins, loops or smash; the perfect defensive weapon. I plan to use the same Sriver Killer rubber on a new Chinese blade with some fast and spinny Chinese rubber. For a 20 year old rubber, thats DURABILITY.

I would love to buy another Sriver Killer if only Butterfly still make them. Can anyone help me out by suggesting a Sriver Killer clone or any smooth skinned anti-spin with similar properties.

Thanks to you all.
