Hi Slick

In the aftermath of the frictionless lp ban I tried Dr N's Anti Special. I had it on a Gladiator blade with Pistol on the forehand. I now think I perhaps should have tried it on a faster blade with inverted on the forehand and just used the anti to keep in rallies while stating up my forehand attack.

I did better with the Timeless. Have you any suggestions as to an Anti setup I might use to block disruptively at the table while attacking with the forehand?

Bulldog.

My suggestion:

Ross Leidy Chameleon (Mod 1), Timeless, Giant Dragon Tai Chi (Hard) or Kokutaku Tulpe 119 (The Chameleon (Original Version) would be faster.

Unfortunately I do not know Leidy blades. I searched on his homepage but did not find a Chameleon. Could you give as an impression of the composition of this blade?

Nowadays I have been training with Toni Hold New Anti 40.With a surprise I saw that this anti has a lot of similarity with Timeless. As soft as Timeless and also looks like same topsheet.Toni Hold spinreversal is more than Timeless. If I knew Toni Hold anti before I would not spend so much time to Timeless. So I found another alternative to Timeless.

Interesting. Which version of sponge for Toni Hold? Also which blade?

Do you clean your anti-rubber to get good spin-reversal?

How are the blocking angles? Forgiving as long pips?

Hi Bulldog, Yes I am preparing a video.Today I tested it again. As I see its spinreversal is as good as Nightmare. Its reversal is much better than Timeless.I can say two times more.I put some Armour on it and I think this helps to imrove its spin reversal.Blocking way is same with Timeless.Much more control than Nightmare.I think I will post video tomorrow.Thanks.

Also look at this video. When I block topspin the ball sometimes return full of topspin but sometimes float ball.Because of this opponent make a lot of mistakes. The boy ı am playing with is my student Vehbi and he knows how this kind of rubbers work but he also makes a lot of mistakes while he was playing against me.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T35NpfQJ8hg

Mynamenotbob, yes like long pips it is forgiving. What I like more with this anti ,besides spin reversal of course is its control. You hardly send the ball out .You know Nightmare has also good spin reversal but personally I was making a lot of easy mistakes with it.It is not easy for me to conrol the ball. Also you know its topsheet is as hard as a rock. But Toni Hold Anti has smooth(soft) surface like Timeless and also something like a very thin sponge under it.You can feel the pips under when you touch the surface sheet.

Hi Fadil,
Does OX mean that there is a really thin sheet under the topsheet and has this thin sheet a gluesheet?
Earlier I made some OX anti (sponges removed) and tried out them. As my experience they(AS & Nightmare) were not forgiving, but they were faster and even less controllable without sponge but fact is also, they are not soft.

Hi Pal,in fact it is not ox.There is a very thin thing under it.As all we know ox anti is not legal. In general thicker dampening sponge under anti more control and less speed.I also have 1.2 mm Tony Hold anti. This is good too and has more control. The topsheet of this anti is so thin that you can see soft pimples under. My main problem with Nightmare was control. Its spinreversal was wonderfull but it was not forgiving .Now I am happy with Toni Hold New anti.In past I played with Toni Hold Original anti but this new one is different.
