G'day fellow dark siders

One of the advice I've read suggested watching videos of table tennis players whose style you want to emulate so you can see the technique and tactics to strive for. This was no problem back when I was a two-wing looper. However, now I am trying to be a hard hitting, aggressive, close-to-the-table, antispin player (who still utilises touch shots). Is there any video you can recommend on youtube showing this being played at a higher level?

Thanks
PK

Take a look in the vids antispin-pips section PK. Amelie Solje would be a good one to take a look at.

I'll take a wild guess and say the Red is his anti. :?:

Although you can watch it twice in this thread, this video IMHO is not really advertising for playing anti. Amy is a good advice, and look out for videos with a German guy Jens Gester. As far as I know he is the highest ranked male anti player at least in his country.

He would be a good guy to interview!

That's cool. I've always liked double anti players. Looks like he twiddles sometimes. Does he use different antis on each side? What blade does he use?

look one post before ;)

On most of the videos, which are some two yr old or so, he played a modified FS 804. I guess because of the ban of modification, thoroughly controlled in his country, he switched. He does not play anti on both sides.

at the time he was using the donic anti on one side, and yasaka anti power on the other. he says he can attack more with the donic.

I'm not sure what blade he uses. he EJ's.... lol
