Forfit the game, you cant beat us.

However, if you still want to try, loop to the anti. Return ball will be chop, hit that with your pips.

Don't try to outpush his anti with your pips. :)

Bigidi,

If this is your first time playing an anti, I would say goodluck  . Anyway, a fastball on his anti might do the trick and be prepared to loop always.

how I play anti:

serve flat, no spin deep to anti. loop return of serve aggressively (being careful, as it is unlikely to have much chop). If your loop is returned, use pimples (not inverted) to centre of table to reset point. Once ball spin looks more controlled, loop again! :D

Is it a slick or a classical anti?

That may be dangerous. If the anti-player is any good he'll punch it hard to the transition-point, the opponent will have to move to his backhand if he wants to loop, that loop can be punched to the forehand, likely winning the point.

Serve long chop to the anti wide to the backhand. Wherever the return comes, close your eyes, and the face of the bat, and smack thje living crap out of it. Repeat till you've gotten this right 11 times. Only difference v playing long pips is slightly less reversal if it is an anti that can generate a bit of spin. Watch the ball, returns will be slower than you think, throwing off your timing a bit.

this depends on the style of player. if it's a defensive anti player, above makes a difference.

if it's an agressive anti player - something that i've always held to is to make SURE you don't give up the table.

anti players that hit can hit well, but the pace of the ball is very rarely as fast as their stroke makes it look. if you give up the table, the anti makes the ball die, land short, or go wide - and you'll more likely get caught into their game =)

his rubber is butterfly super anti
and his style is pretty aggresive, he tries to hit the ball almost in any of his bh shots

then remember the simple advice mate - super anti KILLS the spin. watch for the floaters, as its slow, and dont back off.

That is one of the reasons why I have use different set-ups..

I cant use my D.techs against Anti...
Pogo works much better for me in that situation..
I loop with BH, twiddling a lot, and they often mislead
incoming spin.

Cheers
Geddk

Bigidi,

Can you twiddle? If not, how's your lateral movement? I believe your chances are on loops and flat drives. Or maybe you can attack with your pips.

My best weapon against Anti is my Nittaku Best Anti. Since I plaid it, I haven`t lost any game against any other Anti.
It`s very easy to attack with NBA. These balls have no spin and no speed , but have a good placement on the groundline.
(In a similar way yuo can play this with short pimples.)
Also it is possible to chop to a time game or chop until the doctor comes.
