Hello guys/girls,

I've really enjoyed my first few weeks learning about the use of antispin, I have become obsessed but confused about the different types of rubber and how they play in relation to each other and how different blades effect the properties of the rubbers.

After less than a month my thoughts are that this style at local league level can be immense fun and very rewarding even when you lose. I find the look on the faces of the two winged loopers priceless at the minute. I love it when the ball wobbles and dives after reacting to their spin.Sometimes Ive enjoyed the look so much I forget to react myself and actually lose the point(temporary I'm sure).

Oh joy.

Anyway after all of 4 weeks at most my thoughts are I love the Toni Hold and the Nightmare but feel a little cold abount the DR.N anti special.
MY EJ habit might find me trying a few more before i makea final choice of set up.

These are almost the outer edges of the whole spectrum of anti rubbers. Compliment if you manage them both after a few weeks

Hello Slick, I wouldnt claim to have managed anything at the minute lol. I am just beginning to see the possibilities of them and I hope to develope a style that i enjoy and that can be effective at my level (Milton Keynes Premier/1st division).

I must admit that my results against opponants even at this very early stage are very encouraging, I'm competing with long establish foes  / friends already.

So after a few years who knows.

I played with Super-ANti for about 12 years and liked it alot. I also played with Juic Neo 1.5 and found it wa one of the
best Anti's I found for me. Copping was very easy and attacking was really good. I think If I ever went back
to Anti I would either try Best ANTI, Or back to Neo.

Peace GIG  :Chop:

New blade set-up... Nittaku Monophonic with Dawie 388d-1 ox and Big slam max ( really like this one) down to FH rubber selections--I like it better than talon
flaired handle and 90 grams

It is great fun experimenting and finding out what you can and can't do with differenyt rubber and blade combinations. I've gone through with many long pips, and although you'll never find the perfect one, you can find the one that suits you best, and learn a lot about pips along the way.
