In Turkish we say if you love rose you also have to love its thorn.I love this anti very much and also I got used to it.I block effectively and also attack with it easily. But every tournament I meet a lot of problems.First problem was about its very very thin sponge ...but I solved the problem.I don't understand why they say ox to this rubber although it has thin sponge under it.Second problem was about its very thin topsheet. In a short playing time name of the rubber on the top sheet dissapeared. In short I am happy with this anti but I will be more happy, especially my pocket if these problems solved.

you cant do anything too much, people says its ox maybe because of the sound, not sure , but if it has sponge its not ox. and about the topsheet logos scratching off, you cant do anything, just maybe try holding it not so hard , maybe its because of the quality of topsheet.

Fadil, I've got a few questions.

Have you tried the Toni Hold New Anti 40 with the plastic balls yet? Are you still using it on the Tachi? Also what rubber do you use on the forehand? Still Blowfish?

Thanks!

Thanks Fadil,

What size of Tachi blade are you using? Large, medium or small?

Thanks Fadil and Haggisv. I'm despising the plastic ball so far. I bought Toni Hold New Anti 40 OX before they added the sponge and liked it, but couldn't really use it. Now that it's legal I'm going to give it another try.

Just received my TH New 40. It doesn't seem that have a very slick surface like the frictionless antis. I'm sure it will be better after it's cleaned.

Also do you think it's necessary to give this rubber a sunbath for a few days to make sure there are no harmful VOCs?

I think the very low but signficant grip will actually help a lot in control, especially for hitting... something you lose with total frictionless. Chop blocks still give decent 'reversal'.

Agree with you haggisv , that grip help for easy hitting.Surface sheet is so thin that the pips under ,help for easy hitting even staying under sun for a few days . Sun bath help to increase spin reversal of couse.

It seemed interesting, but I made a ton of unforced errors as I have long pips strokes wired into my brain.
