I tried ABS in original configuration: nothing of special..
But with a customise sponge... very very better than MB or Transformer...
I switched original sponge with a 35 degrees sponge 1,5mm...

You can use an iron.. (flatiron)
1- Take a damp cloth and aluminum film
2-folds on the sponge
3- go over the hot iron (do not use steam) on the sponge covered with cloth and aluminum, not on the topsheet
4- try to separate
Pay attention ...

How does that compare in terms of reversal and slowing effect? Is it the same type of rubber, that hard disc sort of composition? Difficult to change from blade to blade?

I put a new sheet of mega-block on one of my blades again today. It still seems to be great stuff! Unrelated note, I did have a sheet of transformer attached, but I think it was a bad batch -- as I had to close my blade quite a bit when blocking. The grip came much higher than normal. Seemed to be a once off.

dont get me wrong, if i had no problem in buying new mb every month or two, i would have stayed on it, it is a great rubber...

i would say that when both abs and mb are new, mb is better...but after a month or two, abs is better...

I'm agree.. even if with dampening sponge under ABS... ABS is better...
