Hello to every verteran LP players

I've only converted to pimples out for 18 months, and find good improvement. I''m using Dr.N Special blade, Pistol 2.2 Fh, and LP on Bh, which I started from C8 to TSP, Dr.N's Boomerang, and finally Inferno.

I particularly like the spin reversal, which helps me to beat my friends and causing trouble for highter level players in dealing with their power loop or spin.

Although I didnot play at official tornament, I still like to respect the ITTF ban on frictionless LP, and now contemplating a change of my Bh rubber.

Here are my questions seeking all your expert advice :
(1) I rely a lot on spin reversal, I'm playing close table with active and passive block and push on Bh, and hitting hard on Fh. Which LP will you suggest ? I'm still waiting for shipping of my Gorilla, but losing faith after viewing all your expert experience. How about TTmaster Insider or the other ?? name, or PalioCk ???, or any suggestion ?

(2) I cannot find any website selling Palio, even in their Palio offcial website, they do not even listed CK ??? ( the list on LP is empty)

(3) The other day, I was lured to buy a can of Spinmax, and suddenly I realise that it is NOT logical to apply on my frictionless, true or not ? Can I apply Spinmax to My pistol or to any other friction LP ?

It's really good to find so many LP players, which at one time I was an outcast.

Hi Shrink,
Might be time to try BTY Super Anti. You will like the spin reversal and blocking ability. It is heavier than pips though. :D

Welcome to the forum Shrink!

It will be hard to find a legal alternative that has both high reversal and slow speed... Some of the new Anti rubbers are slow, but don't ahve the reversal, unless you go to a real thin sponge, and then you lose control. None of the new LPs have as much spin reversal, some of them, like the TTmaster ones would be among the closest.

Only use spinmax if you want more grip... and changing the grip well beyond it's original grip when it was new, could technically be ruled illegal.

I would indeed advise Palio CK531a in 0X. It is very cheap and from my experience I'd say this comes closest to playing with superblock. Spin reversal is of course not at the same level but you can use the same strokes.

It's available on Ebay and also on eacheng

Palio CK531a on eacheng.net

Thanks Elvis, haggisv & hookshot

considering your suggestions.

Still the doubt : what will be the change if I apply Spinmax on my ox Inferno & Pistol 2.2 ?
