Hi, this one is my official presentation to the antispin world.
Now I play with a custom dr. neubauer abs (very slick) on a thick 2+ mm slow sponge (not the original).
Here a lil' bit of me playing:

is it easy to chop with?

If you wanted to chop you probably don't want to play with frictionless anti. It's made for blocking with high reversal at the table and looses its efficiency when go back from the table.

No, it is not meant for chopping.
Too slow and too dead.
It is REALLY dead.
You know you can't impart backspin far from the table but only return the opponent spin, and to do so effective you have to stay near the table.

Occasionally you can chop when off guard but... yes, it is not effective like sponged pips on this department.

The truly meaning of this rubber (and i guess fl antis in general) is to use it for building topspin strokes.

Great play CelestialBoy. It seems to be working extremely well in aiding build-ups for your FH topspin attacks which are a lot more now than in the past. Good strategy and certainly a strength in your play for opponents to contend with now

Hi, the Anti looks really good and slow. Where did you buy the Sponge?

These sponges are very unique and I guess you can't find them elsewhere.
They're 2,5 mm thick so you can't put them under every antispin sheet.
They are good for antis like abs or megablock which have small pips-in.
Trasformer, gorilla etc. which have longer pips-in will become illegal with these sponges (you will have a 4+ mm of total rubber, the limit is 4 mm according to the rules).

Btw I'm using the pink (rosa) sponge. The red (rossa) is the slowest, the pink comes after in slowness.

From the same match...

When I tried ordering from them in the past, they were unable to deliver to U.S.

Is the ABS topsheet flexible? The only anti I have experience with is transformer and the topsheet was like a brittle piece of plastic that was ruined when I took it off. couldn't even bend it a little bit....I mean barely at all.

Because of that, I essentially gave up on the idea of anti..

If it's like the transformer (stiff and brittle) I couldn't imagine risking to remove it from it's original sponge and placing it on a new one.

Nice play by the way.

Follow up question, please elaborate for us the process you followed for removing and then re-gluing the ABS to the new sponge.

What glue, what method, steps etc.
(yes I'm demanding)

Japsican the ABS topsheet is quite durable. Should have no wrinkles or problems removing the original sponge.

But is it flexible like a regular rubber? or stiff?

So weird they won't ship.

Flexible enough to do this:

Yes, indeed.
My sheet is actually flexible, i will make a video tomorrow to show u.
Very easy to peel off like a normal rubber.

Nowadays I removed the sheet from the sponge and I've attached it with a gluesheet.
Previously it was glued with normal water glue.
Oh guys, with the gluesheet the anti became faster and maybe with a little more of spinreversal.

Celestialboy why did you get the pink sponge instead of the slower red sponge? Do you use a fast blade?
