I just tried again, even offering to pay 24EUR shipping, and they refused.

I talked to him about this. He's thinking back about this decision...
The only thing which worries him is the postal service... he is a little afraid that the service could not be 100% safe and worth to send things in U.S.
If you guys from the U.S. can make a single consistent order...... maybe this will help.

is it flexible like a regular rubber? or stiff?

here ur answer

Follow up question, please elaborate for us the process you followed for removing and then re-gluing the ABS to the new sponge.

2 methods: gluesheet and water glue. The last one makes the anti softer to the touch and slower.
The process I used is the same like a normal inverted rubber: just 1 layer of water glue under the sheet, one on the sponge, let them dry, attach and roll.
If u have to remove glue residues from the sheet you can use an adhesive tape. With it you can scratch away the glue.
Removing glue residues from the sponge can be done with ur fingers, rubbing.

Celestialboy why did you get the pink sponge instead of the slower red sponge? Do you use a fast blade?

I was advised for the pink by a friend who tried both, red and pink. The red would be too much slower...
I got some other informations about the red even in a recent tournament where a player (of a superior level than me) who use my same anti tried the red and pink sponge.
The feedback about red sponge was... so slow... barely playable... the pink is better also because u can attack with ur anti.

This is my blade:

I bet you never saw it, right?
It is a 7-plies wood blade, offensive... I like so much the feel of this blade because it gives to me a feeling of "explosion" when I execute an hard topspin.
This feeling is the main reason because I'm using a 1.7 mm inverted rubber on the fh... because I like the direct feel of this blade.
Secondly... 1.7 gives me more precision in the short game...
I was using baracuda 1.8 mm which is very good for me, now I'm trying the tibhar Aurus 1.7 mm wich I find a more "user friendly" version of baracuda, also the 1q sound 1.7 was good...

I was advice to use an offensive blade, because I need power on my forehand.
The anti doesn't let me win... I need to make points with strong forehand shots...

Thanks Celestialboy for your information!

That is indeed a rare blade. I couldn't find any information about it online.

How interesting that you use a glue sheet between the sponge and ABS topsheet! I wonder if that's "legal" within the ITTF rules.

You're welcome.
Yes there isn't informations about the blade online.
I can tell you that mine isn't the only from the tt-top series made in hungary.
There are actually 3 blades: aqua, thunder and fire.
These blades are getting quite popular here in Italy because the good quality.
Acqua is an allround blade, 5-ply
Thunder is an off-, wood +carbon
Fire is the mine which i described...
....and maybe there's another off+ called earth.

I don't know why they are unknown.

...I think would be interesting trying a double gluesheet abs, with another gluesheet between the sponge and the blade.... The only thing to pay attention is the total thickness off the rubber because the gluesheet adds a 0.x mm....

Oh good point re: added thickness. I already use glue sheet between sponge and blade. I'll use rubber cement between sponge and topsheet then.

Updates: tried my custom ABS on DMS Terror Blade.
The combination is AMAZING and will be my combination for the next season.
Total control + maximum efficiency of the anti thanks to the stiff but not fast allround wood.
