This is a post that I never expected I would be making. :o

I play table tennis about 4 times a week, either at my clubs, where the accent is on practice and socialising, or at league matches. None of my regular practice partners use pimples or anti.

However, I recently came across a player using using anti. Probably friction-less, as she showed no sign of ever noticing my spin. Anyway, very frustrating.

I have a sheet of Hallmark Mirage, 1mm sponge, lying around, so I plan to put it on a blade and give my team some practice against it. I just haven't decided which blade to put it on. I normally use a Hurricane FH rubber on a HL3 or H301 blade, but I have a variety of blades to choose for this experiment. These include:-

Stiga All-round Classic
Yasaka ML EO
Yinhe N9
Andro Kinetic Supreme
Bty Primorac.
Stiga Maplewood NCT 7
Adidas Power 7? (Clipper clone)
DHS PG7
Nittaku Miyabi
A couple of ALC blades (clones of Viscaria)
Xiom Vega, Pro and Tour
DHS PG5
Xiom Zetro Quad
XVT Balsa Carbon Hinoki (10mm)
Andro HiLoom

There are others, but I think this covers the main variants.

So, my question, given that I would prefer to carry on with Hurricane on the FH, but that's not an absolute requirement for this purpose, which of these blades would experienced anti users recommend? For me and my team to practice against each other?

I recognize that we won't be using it expertly, just to get some kind of feel for what works.

Blade: GRUBBA
FH: RAYSTORM
BH: BEST ANTI
i would try first with the stiga allround .
Hallmark Mirage, ive heard bad reports about this mate.Maybe try juic neo in 2mm.you can pick up some sheets cheap from e bay.
you can hit chop and block with the neo anti.yasaka antipower is also decent and best anti. all easy to play with.
i have tried many blades and play with a defence blade now but to start i would go with the allround stiga
ps-how did your guy play with the anti-did he block hit or chop??

I am not worried about the quality of the Mirage v others. I have no intention of becoming an anti player.

The opponent blocked and flat hit.
