Has anybody tried both NBA and Toni hold ?

TH was famous years ago but I newer hear about it anymore.

I need Them for an allround game with both Choping,looping and Hitting

I have never tried Toni Hold. I have played against a friend who uses Joola Toni Hold and he uses it to chop block at the table with quite a bit of success.

I have just started using Nittaku Best Anti with 1mm sponge in red and I am really enjoying blocking and hitting with it. I don't chop too much but when I have had to do so I have found the rubber to be ok but nothing special. As I say, that's not really my game.

At some point i hope to try JTH.Its supposed to be pretty heavy but excellent at blocking crazy hard loops at the table.i have heard that you cant really chop or attack with it though.its also very expensive.the NBA is a do it all antispin.The general overview on the net is JTH is one of the best blockers but thats about it.no attack potential at all.folk say that in the modern game you need something more all round..I would argue that if you can block very hard shots and then get the f/h in then JTH is a good match.there is a new faster version i think-i would avoid that one and go for the original.im keeping an eye out on e bay for a sheet.

I only know one player who uses it and he only really chop blocks with it. I would need to use it before making a judgment.
I am convinced that in the modern game Anti needs to be used actively.
When I get too passive near the table I give too many high balls. NBA is particularly good at attacking backspin.

The above posts sound about right. From what I can glean TH is somewhat harder and heavier, a little slower and with a little less grip. One of the most controllable of all anti’s, but not the most versatile. Not as good for chopping and hitting, possibly due to the dampening sponge and/or less friction.
