I am going for Nittaku Best Anti because I can chop (a bit) with it, and forehand would be Tibhar Evolution MX-S, but I am not sure about the blade. I prefer Stiga because of the Legend handle (Wide Flared). Which of the following do you suggest?

Stiga Allround Classic Carbon
Stiga Allround Wood NCT
Stiga Allround CR - WRB

i use best anti in 1.8 and its amazing for blocking and chopping.i use a defplay.its also good with an all minus grubba pro.
im sure it will be ideal with any of your blades.if too fast you can always move down to a slower blade.what country do you live in?

After I posted the question, I read about Dr. Neubauer Hercules and Der Materialspezialist Spinhunter and found them to be good. Now I am even more confused

it all depends on your game for choice of blade.i like to passive block close to the table and also chop away from the table with anti.i also like to passive block on the f/h and do the odd drive.for blocking heavy loops the defplay blade is very good when used with best anti.
i use short pips on the forehand-its very confusing and i get my stuff cheap from e bay and sell on what i dont like

Thank you for your feedback? I decided to go with Stiga Allround CR - WRB and Nittaku Best anti on BH.

However, I am still unable to decide between 1.2 mm and 1.8 mm. Could you explain the differences? Which thickness should be used for what purpose -
chop(spin)/block/reversal? Which has better control?

I use the same setup you mentioned. NBA on BH and MX-S for FH. NBA thickness is 1.8 and MX-S is max.
If you are from Hyderabad we can meet and you can check how Nest Anti with 1.8mm plays. I am using BBC Nine blade.

It's alright, I use it for an emergency chop else block/push most of the time. I win some, I lose some. I am not certain if I am using it right. So many things I could be wrong about....blade type (right now off+), bat angle for anti rubber play, grip on handle (soft/medium/hard), playing distance from table, watching the ball till contact on blade etc

I ordered a new stiff carbon blade (all+) with 1.2 mm Best Anti and it's on its way. And I hope to work on the issues I mentioned above one step at a time, and by trial and error.

I am currently playing the NBA (black, 2.0mm) RH (QTTR around 1400, 2nd class NRW).
Gameplay: Mainly block (active and passive) / counter and if there must be long defense.
Actually, I am satisfied with my NBA, supercontrolled, doing what I expect from him. Since I would like to test something in the coming Easter holidays, here is my question: Has ever one of you a change on mittellange Noppe dared? And if so on which and with what success? I love the Neubauer killer.

Dr Neubauer Hercules goes well with the 1mm version which I think is described as 1mm to 1.3mm. I suppose I ought to measure the sponge on mine.

its also good on the Dr Neubauer kung fu blade.it plays slightly faster than the defplay.

Had a great two hour practice session last night and although I was tired when we started I got very encouraging results from the NBA. Marvellous control on block and chop block. Superb for drop shots and in its element for return of serve.
The rubber is also useful for the odd surprise flat serve and for no spin short serves.I have started hitting high balls to my backhand and punching backspin which is easier to do cross table than down the line.
I will shortly be ready to use the rubber competitively.
Quietly optimistic.

Hi Krishna, I've been playing with Superanti for some 23 years now, with 2.0mm sponge. NBA is similar. I've found it work best on slow to allround blades on the stiffer end. In last 10 years I've settled on Stiga Hypertech CR, which is supposedly a Stiga Allround classic with CR and hardened veneers, the forehand being slightly faster. It's the most precise blade I know. Previously Primorac Off- and Butterfly Morim have also worked for me great, but after the speedglue ban I switched to the Hypertech. The stiga Def was too soft, and the allround carbon just didn't suit me, it's a bit faster. I tried the DMS Revolution blade recently too but found it faster, less precise abd curiously - very hard to generate spin with. I play the anti like a normal rubber, opening 3rd ball attack, block with upward not downward motion and occasional chop if end up behind at mid distance. Good luck finding a good combo, and most importantly, clinging to it
