Hey Guys,

So It's been pretty horrendous weather in QLD Australia recently, with 30+degree days coinciding with 80% and higher humidity conditions - really not fit for human living to be fair, but my TT hall is not air conditioned and I've noticed a significant difference in my anti dependent on weather.

Basically I lose the ability to block/counter any no spin or back spin as the moisture in the air is enough to counter the very small amount of grip my anti has (or this is how it seems). My game fell apart as I have spent the last 4 months learning this shot/couple of shots and all I could do to have the ball land on the table was push.

has anyone else come across this and have any real solutions? The problem with Anti is that in terrible conditions, unlike LP, I cannot revert to a defensive passive pushing game as that just gives the opponents at my level a really easy way to hit it straight through me.

Any advice would be great - I tried all kinds of things to no avail over the weekend!

It is the compromise you must accept... this is why u should be able to use the other side of ur racket better than anti

i wish that was true mate.im 90% antispin b/h.actually thinking of going anti both wings and twiddling(using 1.3 and 1.8mm).
A lot of players hate the anti chop and make mistakes.i can hit with the anti but sometimes its not effective.chops with NBA are nasty.
I just do not have a good f/h.its ok but as you move up the leagues you find out that certain things work and certain things dont.sure i would love that great forehand but i wont get it.
