I've not tried the Gigant, nor have I tried the DMS rubbers, but the person whos bat I was trying has tried those and also many others, and for him the Mantlet worked best. I was just glad I got a chance to try it, and was surprised how versatile the rubber was on that blade.

How soft is the sponge, in numbers?
What weight of the rubber, in numbers?
Could you evaluate the sponge with Shore device?

Thanks.

It was one someone else's bat, so I could not measure it. It feels soft and light though.

Some friendly advice from an insider informer.

The product is only acceptable for leisure activities. The item is now pending for re-test by ITTF laboratory, since it was found to fail in the fingerprint test, non elastic materials are prohibited by ITTF M4 latest edition.

Be happy.
