Interesting. Not sure if this faster version of the Gigant will be popular, because the thing that makes Gigant special is that it's so slow. Making it faster will likely make it similar to so many other anti rubbers on the market. We'll have to wait and see.

I agree that it seems that this version loses the main thing that was so distinctive about the Gigant, which is its INCREDIBLE dampening power. Note that the guy wasn't doing very much at-the-table blocking with this new version, and when he did do some blocking at the end, it was against a player who was playing too far off the table to loop repeatedly. My impression is that this version will be better for choppers but even worse for at-the-table defenders, and at the end of the video, he pretty much says that you shouldn't expect to just get easy points off of high-level players with this thing, but rather, need to work the point with a combination of offense and defense. Makes sense.

I agree 100% .I played with Gigant in recent tournaments . To make up for the lack of spin reversal I twiddled. It works alright but at higher levels twiddling has a great flaw .Gigant on the fh is VERY weak .Intelligent players will start feeding balls on the bh when twiddling .

Gigant 2 looks a nice try for something different .It does seem Gigant 2 won't be enough either .

I also don't see the advantage over other classic anti's. Unless it somehow plays differently, the only advantage might be the price, compared to the big brands.
