I think (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) that all of the ABS2 versions use the same top sheet, it's just the sponge that is different. For DMS the top sheet is different between the different versions.

Sorry to correct you here but not quite. The ABS2 is the same as the old ABS but with a thicker therefore more dampening sponge. Among the ABS2 there are some variations in the topsheet: the ABS2 soft has a softer topsheet and the ABS2Evo has a harder topsheet but both have the same sponge. The ABS2 Pro has a harder topsheet and a new harder sponge.

That's all very confusing, thanks for clarifying Matt. I figured someone with more knowledge on the Dr N versions would straighten me out!

Hi Matt!
ABS PRO topsheet is harder than the EVO one?

Hi Matt!

Hi Andrea,
I believe the topsheet for the Pro is the same as for the Evo but the Pro has a new, harder sponge and not the typical pink sponge. I currently play the Evo and have the Pro lying here but didn't have a chance to test it yet. I'll report though once I had a chance to test it.

And while I have you here, please also check my YouTube Channel "AntiRules". I'm not as good as you are though but I try...

I read some and more and decided to go for the abs 2 evo slow 2.5 mm
Seems a bit easier to control and will be my starting point.
I´m just not comfortable with changing spognes

Just not sure if i should use the matador texa carbon, a viscaria or a tibhar force pro

I think this is a good starting point! It has good control and you also have good attacking possibilities.

Personally, I would start with whatever blade you are currently playing for a first test so you don't change two variables at the same time. Once you get used to the anti more you can start on testing some other blades. I personally would lean towards the matador texa carbon since we know that the combo works well for Luca.

Just received and glued the 2.5 slow.

The previous one was very hard to remove.
Completely broke the topsheet.
I guess reusing a FLanti is impossible.

Did some bouncing with it. Feels easier to use then the 2.1
Gonna do some training tonight with it. Excited to try it

I´ll keep you guys posted

Training was ok. Easier to control then the 2.1.
And slowing down the game was a lot easier.
Blocks wen good were very effective.

It stays difficult for me to not completly undermine my own
Offensive FH game. Normaly my strong point. All of a sudden
I play too much BH.

Reflex blocks in BH are a big let down. I keep on closing
My batangle. Really annoying.

If there only was a rubber wich was as annoying s this one
If you play normal strokes :)

Haha I know what you mean, it takes a long time to learn the proper blade angle and have it become natural during a match, when you don't have time to think about it and just have to react. I've said that if I'd ever want to switch back to a different type of rubber I'd have to start from the beginning again.
