Currently, I'm using Grass Dtecs on a Sanwei Defense blade, but I'm considering testing the Gorilla from Dr. Neubauer. Has anyone had experience with this? Can you provide a comparison in terms of reversal, ball speed, and control?

I like Dr Neubauer super block and Pro Ideal Magician II.

The storkraft will be the easist to start with I guess.
Gorillla is the 'older' line of flanti's.

Black edition is said to be very hard to control but a beast with the revearsal

Storkraft is slower than anything that I can think of. Definitely slower than Grass. I will say, I also think Storkraft is the most difficult slick anti to play with. If you're just starting out, I'd recommend Dr Neubauer ABS3, it's more easy to control than Storkraft. DMS Scandal would be another good choice for a combinations of slow speed/reversal/control

Having the right blade for these rubbers is vital. You need a hard, stiff blade to maximize the effect.

I am not familiar with that blade, but I do not think that defensive blades are (in general) good combinations with the frictionless anti.

Doug, I would generally agree since defensive blades tend to be on the softer side and in combination with very slow antis with dampening sponge like ABS3 you'll have to carry the ball over the net. It may only work if you want to play a very fast and difficult to control anti like Gorilla or SG Black Edition.
