Is there a best blade for playing with Glanti?

I figured until my techniques were better, any stiff blade would do.

I see many players recommended Dr Neubauer Matador Blade.

Does that blade or others like the Deluxe Carbon by DMS really make Glanti easier to control?

Thanks.

The Dr. Neubauer Matador is indeed a good blade for an flanti while holding the capability of making good and spinny loops. I have ordered one myself and can't wait to try it out.

If anything, I would give my vote to that particular blade. Other stiff blades or even the Matador's advanced versions might be too fast for controlled style of play.

I do not know if the Matador actually contributes to the control, but definitely the reversal. Control maybe too, since it relatively stiff, it might not be slow.

Blade: Gerry Viscaria Super ZLC
FH: Tuttle G20 President
BH: Slick antispin
Safest bet for spin reversal:

Barna Triumph
Neubauer Matador Texa Carbon
Neubauer Matador
DMS Deluxe Carbon

You can't go wrong with these blades.

I agree with what others have said on the Matador but for me the best GlAnti blade, if we don't worry about the forehand, was Dr. Neubauer Hercules. This gave the best reversal and disruption to me but it's also very stiff and doesn't provide much feel so my forehand suffered with it.
The best control on blocking with also very good reversal to me was the Dr. Neubauer Jackpot. Again, this wasn't really ideal for my forehand either.

I've used both the Matador and Deluxe Carbon and they are both excellent. Currently I am using the Stiga Cybershape Carbon. Glanti works very, very well on it and of all those blades I feel it also gives me the best forehand attack.

You folks were right, the Matador blade is infinitely better for Glanti rubbers and yet faster enough on the inverted side to get great spin and power.

Thank you all for your help.

Better control and massive spin reversal.

That's good to hear!

One thing I would like to ask you if you have experienced any gluing difficulties and if you did how did you overcome them?

I cheated and had TT11 glue my paddle.

After reading about people having trouble gluing, I just decided to have the pros do it.

I had to do the same thing when I played with ox long pips, that experiment lasted a month.

Now I have to change my name "Anti-Flipper" maybe?

Thanks.
