Is there any difference between the red and black version?

Did Anti Special is good choice for Chop? Am looking for good anti spin with control for chop.

No I'd stick with C&FIII if you can control it. Anti is a bad call per se for chopping IMO but that grey zone anti (forget its name) might be ok for chopping.

Mathias, do you think that Neo Anti is good for chop in your opinion?

Which sponge that you suggest, 1.0, 1.5 or 2.0?

I think Fog (or C&FIII) is better. However if you are determined to use anti- then from what I understand (I've not played it) neoanti is your rubber.

Dark had trouble against it (which means its good, Dark is good), Haggisv called it 'grey' (which is a compliment from a die-hard long pip player) and Speedplay likes it (he knows every anti- going).

I would set up a new thread for this discussion and get some specialist advice. With the possible exception of anti-tops I'll not be delving into anti.

again I really don't understand. I know that people do it, but to my limited experience a chop is a stroke that imparts spin - anti cannot impart spin - why chop with anti???? You can't vary the spin and you can't impart spin, and the reversal isn't good enough to hurt people, why..?????????

The small amount of grip on most anti can be useful for adding to the existing spin. The Neoanti is quite good at this. It doesn't produce the super heavy chop of grippy pips, but does a decent job and is very reliable.

after having had a very traumatic experience with the gorilla, i gave the nas a shot today!

the first few shots reminded me of the gorilla, but with time i got used to the rubber. the blocks (when everything went to plan) had a lot of spin reversal and my training partner had a very shocked face, it was very difficcult for him to anticipate the spin. offensive shots were nasty too. the problem however is the degree of unforced errors. you cant play this sheet like a long pimple, you have to change your style!

all in all i think the nas is the most dangerous rubber around in terms of spin reversal, but it needs training and needs to be tamed.

i will continue to try to "adapt", used correctly, this rubber is deadly. also looking forward to play with the abs (once released).

tried the nas in 1.8 just 4 fun at a internal club-tournament, last time i played with an anti was about 10 months ago..

i was really surprised how much of a difference the sponge made to the 1.2 version, i hardly made any mistanke when blocking, very short and nasty blocks. with all frictionless antis the spin reversal depended on what the opponent was launching at you. the 1.8 version is faster but it doesnt solve the problem i had with all frictionless antis: attacling on chopped balls with a lot of spin is not as easy as with long pimples.

Hi!

I now change my Long Pimple to Anti rubber and my first anti rubber the Nittaku Best anti. I see that Simon Huth Anti player in the German leagle. I like he's play. He play Nas 1,8mm in a fast blade.

My Gergely blade it's also fast ( Thats the problem with long pimple) and i think to buy Nas 1,8 Red anti ruber to my Gergely blade. Do you think it's a good combination? This 1,8mm Sponge slow doun the Gergely blade?
