Rubber: Red
Thickness: 0x* Toni Hold regards this as a sponge, the ITTF have not as yet as far as I know ruled on it so legality may be in question. (Reversed rubber needs sponge)
Blade: JZ Kevlar Best Defensive

General: This rubber is very soft and almost velvety in testure. It posseses long pimples on the underside attached to a clear sponge (or is a glue sheet).

Speed: Fairly slow, quicker than Joola Toni Hold 1.5mm. Definetly defensive.

Control: Very controlled, as you'd expect for an anti. Slick top sheet and slow speed make for excellant control.

Spin: Low. It does not have a grippy top sheet and no sponge to speak of.

Blocking: Excellant control and placement, will wave a little. BUT it is not like superblock. The spin reversal is poor. If people miss a second loop it will be long not in the net.

Chopping: Very easy to chop with, control is good, can get some curve. To win points it will be off your variations, not the rubbers. Yet to assess how much chop it gets in comparison with other antis.

Hitting: Stroke needed is more like that of a long pimple. It is harder to hit with than most antis. You really need to lift a chop and it's very difficult to hit a topspin.

Summary: Sort of like a hybrid of long pimples and anti. The control of anti is there and you can get a little curve, but it isn't particuarly funny and is hard to hit with. Good for blocking if all you want is control, not so good if you want reversal. Better away from the table.

Additional info: The 1mm version is very quick for an anti. A totally different rubber!
