Gorilla? Grizzly? Anti Special? A-B-S?

What does Dr. N use?

Apparently at the recent European Veterans Table Tennis Championships in Croatia, Dr. Neubauer used Gorilla with .6 sponge. He got through the qualifying rounds in singles and doubles no problem, but went out early in the championship draw in both categories.

This news inspired me to revisit the Gorilla again on my slowest blade, the TTMaster Sensitive Defense. I can confirm Gorilla's just as dreadful as I remembered it. I don't understand how Dr. N can use it effectively. For most of us, A-B-S is so much more playable. :salut:

Yes does make you wonder...Either he's one of those players that can play effectively with just about anything, or he may not be playing with what's reported... I believe he's sponsored by Dr Neubauer, so he has to use their products

I have confirmed with Carsten Neubauer that Herbert Neubauer is and will using his new ABS and Diamant on the new kung fu blade.

That's interesting. I wonder if there's any way to confirm that. On noppen-test they're saying he was using Gorilla at the EVC.

BTW, I loved those new videos on youtube of that guy playing the ABS in his club championship. :D

I am now going back to Gorilla 0.6 mm for a month (after Fighter). At least I can get something parity to the old frictionless LP that seem to be mostly suit my style. I will take some VDO of my match soon.

It sounds good. I had a very short experiment with Gorilla 0.6 mm. I loved its huge reversal so much, but I did not handle the no spin balls with it.
Thereby It would be nice to see How taming is possible by your VDO.
Please be so kind to write some instructions for using and show the way to your VDO to watching.
Thanks in advance
Pal
