If I were your opponent and standing in the middle of the table (Im right handed btw), I could do a quick forehand flick diagonally across the table which would be a disaster for you :D :D :D

I like your serving technique though, you can vary the spin and speed of the ball greatly when you serve.

in that case he most definately wouldnt be serving there :p...

As for this short down the line serve, the point is to be able to vary the placement of your serves so that your opponent is not going to expect a cross table serve every time. Also, if you keep this serve low and short, it will be fairly difficult to flip it across table on the return.
