I'm not sure if there's a thread already started on this topic, but it seems most of the London Olympic table tennis videos are now available to all on YouTube. Many are complete matches. Some great stuff there; example,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7-0tho5 ... re=related

PS: I did try embedding this video with the 'youtube' command, but it wouldn't work (sometimes it seems to do that). So, I left it as a hyperlink.

And, of course, the all-important match:

PS: Still not embedding ... ;(

Yes, I know ... but we in the marginalised countries haven't had any access to games. But I might have been sleeping under a rock, too. :^)

does anyone else also think that this is the best performance of jike in any match (probably along with the austrian open final with ma long)?

I mean the tactics (time out in the first set at 17-16!), the ownage in the next two sets and just unrelenting efficiency and power

Plus i think Wang Hao needs to do something about low balls that he keeps on missing not just in this match but in almost all of his matches.

Buying equipment is like getting into a relationship. One night stands are great but you get the most out of it when you work at it for a long time.
