Thanks Haggisv, that was brilliant. 9 minutes of joy. I started to think I should watch it for motivation before going to TT every time, then I re-thought that it might de-motivate me and I think it would be much better to watch it AFTER TT...and then I can think my shots were like these, rather than recognising reality if I watched it prior to games

Great compilation.

Slightly off topic: I've been watching the Australian Open Tennis and it's made me wonder what it is that makes it so very popular. I've got a few ideas, but I reckon this might be a topic for another thread. It was this compilation that sparked the question.

Tall Russian females is a big part of why tennis is popular, Dark European males is the other half . If its not all about tennis players looks then its all about their personality, no one has a clue what any of the table tennis heroes is like personality wise. Tennis stars, well we know all of them quite well.

In fact its probably why well run sports like tennis and formula one put so much effort into interviews etc. We all know the ITTF is useless and rather make the ball giant and think the game will magically look after itself, it just won't. You need to be proactive with this stuff.
