What possesses someone to put the bat behind their back to block a smash??? :o :o

Just doesn't seem a natural reaction, yet its certainly spectacular to watch. I think I re-watched it half a dozen times...in Awe!

I never realized it. I saw it when it bounced on the table and it happened so fast.
I hit that thing full speed and he went the wrong way. 99.99% I would have won that point!!

He even spin 360, like a ballerina, with paddle behind his back and SMASH it back, not just a block, for a clean winner.

Funny thing is I've seen this kind of shot many times and didn't feel any thing. Now when it happened to me ...... SO SICK OF IT.
