Haggisv, Thanks for posting this video. It brings back some very nice memories. I actually practiced with Karaksevic when I was about 13 years old. At the end of the practice we played a game, and he beat me 21-4. It was special to have had the opportunity to practice with one of the top players in the world at such a young age. Sadly, I met Alser in 1975, about 1 1/2 years before he passed away in a private plane crash. I have nice memories of watching the great Swedish trio of Bengtsson, Johansson, and Alser in the early 1970s. Steven |

Thank you for sharing the video. It was rare to see an European penholder. And yes, the Swedish trio in the early 1970's was always a joy to watch, each one got an unique playing style. |
