Those are the two best ones for blockers (along with Hydra)!

I noticed there are plenty of other blades that have arrived in the OOAK shop from RE-Impact.

Yes they're expensive, although there are a lot of other expensive blades too.

It's up to the individual to decide if it's worth it... perhaps when you get your tachi you might change your mind :lol:

Yea, I hope so :) have also ordered a Grass D tecs OX in black and going for Hexer+ or Stiga boost tx in my FH. :) I will try to test them both if I have the money :P.

My playing stile is;

Attacking, when i can with my Forehand, and blocking when it's necessary :) Also going a little away from the table, but trying to get the last attack.

These blades may be expensive, but over-prized? You will definitely get something very special if you buy one. Rendler's Re-Impact is not the only small manufacturer in Germany; there is also J.Zanders, a firm who makes very good blades and will tailor them for you (prices are lower than Rendler's). Rendler will go on about different kinds of vibrations in different plies and how they add up or mute each-other, and Zanders makes similar claims about his work, almost as if they are building violins or harpsichords. There are actually quite a few very good builders of musical instruments in Germany, so there is a market for small quantities of high quality woods. These artisans have a profound knowledge of wood and how to work with it but they are also sort of mystic/romantic about it. They will demand, for instance, that a certain type of pinewood will come from trees which have grown over 1300 meters altitude, on a north face, and have been cut down on the slope when the moon was full. They will also let the wood rest, water and dry for a considerable time (over a year at least) before it is sawed and quartered. They will use special glues, often their own recipes, which do not only bond extremely well, but transmit vibrations perfectly - or that is their claim. Will all this translate into a blade with superior qualities for table-tennis? Perhaps not. But it doesn't do harm either. And a blade made of these woods and glues by these artisans is something individual and beautiful and I think worth the money in itself. Okay, so I am a romantic too ;) :) . I wouldn't buy one, but that is because I can't spare the money.
