I've written a fairly detailed Table Tennis Rubber Guide for the OOAK shop, which I think is essential for a shop that does not just sell goods, but tries to offer advice and support as well. I've covered the basic rubbers types and the styles they suit, the basic rubber terminology and also what the rubber ratings mean. I've also included a list of rubber+ blade recommendations for the different styles and requirements, which I hope to continue adding to.

Although I don't run the shop, I'm usually the one that gets to answer questions and offer advice , so I thought why not start adding this to the website, so people can refer to it. I actually tried to write something similar quite a few years back, and reading back over that I think I've learnt quite a lot since that time, mostly from here I think.

Now as soon as I've done a similar guide for the blades as well, the boss will stop flogging me, and I can get back to the fun stuff
