well i am very impressed with this rubber far better than i expected i am able to hit most anything the robot spews out
not sure if it is my blade that is making this rubber very fast or not (joola panther)thoughts would be good
also i dont think that i have had to change my shots that much either so i hope i can play as well against people as i could the robot

Yes it's an excellent and very versatile rubber... that's why I use it too

Yes, an awesome pip. Several of us chopper EJ's seem to have settled on it.

Im wondering if you use this rubber aggressively with hits and punches or more chopping and pushing ?

It you do not find it good for chopping defensively what you you recommend.

I Feel as a new member of the "dark side" that it is very difficult to use it.
Especially against slow balls with no real real spin in it.
How do you handle these shots ?

The disappointed wobbler

I remember answering your quesry in another section... can't remember which section.... Basically you need to brush the ball to get control... since a slow no-spin ball is hard to brush downwards, I find a sideways brsuh is most effective, since it allows you to brush harder without hitting it ober the end... try it

Yes it is a nice rubber. I am trying it in 0.5mm but wonder how it works in Ox version. If I am right, Haggisv, you use it in 1.2mm, I think this would be too fast for me.

P1-r is a great long pip rubber :D I use it on .5mm myself I would not think that it would work as well on no sponge

Maybe would we also check with wich blade we are playing?

For LP, the blade is also very important and changes the feeling.

Actually, I am trying it on a Japsko All+ blade but will maybe try it on the Tibhar Techno Power or the Neubauer Combi effect.

Oh and by the way, does anyone know a similar LP as the Curl P1R but cheaper?

its rather meant to be a good away from the table chopping rubber. As such, I think a sponge is needed and makes the rubber more efficient. With this, I also believe that the thicker sponge you can control, the better the rubber gets. [/quote]
yes..
