Post subject:  Darker SAKURA blade information

I've summarised all the information on the Darker Sakura blade technology here, for anyone that might be interested. This bit was particularly interesting to me:

Image
--- The blue line represents that strong rebound occurs upon low impact and rebound not strong enough occurs upon high impact(non-symmetric performance).

--- The red line represents that weak rebound occurs upon low impact and strong rebound occurs upon high impact(symmetric performance).

True or possible, you reckon?

If rubbers can have gears, why not blades?

The Alba is faster and has a thickness of 6.2 but the Serio has more feel but with a thickness of 6.5 I thought thickness is linked with speed. I could be wrong. I'm guessing the Alba is like the 7p-2a with a bigger sweetspot and the Serio is the softer version. Are they based off the head size and same design as a 7p-2a, I am interested to know.

On the info it states one-ply feeling and multi-ply power. That is a big claim by Darker but the Japanese aim for perfection so this could be true.

They are both the same size as regular Darker blades, including the 7p-2a.

Thicker usually means stiffer and less vibration, so you'll likely feel less, but feel is very subjective.
