Yesterday I Tested JO silver on a Andro Super Core Cell off- blade.
It was everything i hoped for.
It has everythink a boosted or speedglued rubber has.
Most fast tensors is quite hard and difficult to control, but the silver is very soft and has a great feel.
I was very surprised to find that it was much easier to loop with than my previous rubbers and much more kick due to the sensor effect.
It clicks almost more than freshly speedglued rubbers, so both the feel and sound is just right.
The rubber can generate quite a bit of spin as well.
It is very good at direct punches and smashes.
I could easily push with it even though i play with 2.0 mm.

If anyone wants to quit boosing, this if the best alternative i have seen yet.
I have earlier played Desto f3 but this is way better and still easier to play IMHO.

Maybe the succes is because of the perfect fit of blade and rubber, but i have never tried anythink even close to the quality this setup has.
And please remenber that 1,5 months ago i was chopping and playing Globe 999 1,5 in FH.

I agree with everything Speedy Wobbler says about the JO Silver. I have just tried it on my TSP Reflex 50 and they seem made for each other.I have JUIC Couga on the BH and the combo feels quite potent with great control and feel.
I have also just tried Avalox Sterco on my Wavestone (with JUIC 999EN on the BH) and that feels a bit softer, faster and spinnier but not with the same feel and control as the TSP setup.
I will switch rubbers shortly, for further trial, but I am very pleased with both rubbers and I will definately be getting some more.
I see them as a solution to my TSP Versal too.

Good to hear tuffix!

Yes I've also tried both these rubbers on one or 2 blades, and they have good speed and great feel. I'm sure you're right, finding the best blade and rubber combination makes a big difference... and I think you're getting pretty good at that... you've certainly had plenty of practice

Glad you like it Speedy!!!!

I'm also a big JO Silver fan and I still find it quite fast even on a all- blade :) ,

Hated it - sorry.

Easy to play with ... too easy not dangerous enough.

Will try Destro F3 'Big Slam' and Yasaka Pryde.

I have bought several sheets of the Silver, used them both in 2mm and Maximum on the fh:
Acts everything a speedglued rubber does, easy to get used too as well.
Haha down side is this rubber can be very addictive.:) and might leave the his pocket empty.
Suprisingly it last longer than most other tensor

Does anybody tried Tibhar Nimbus, Nimbus Soft or Sound? Can compare with JO Silver? I'm very pleased with "Sound" and want to now if JO silver is better.

How does JO Silver compared to Desto F1 in terms of sponge hardness, speed, spin and control?

Cheers.

Have a look at our donic rubbers overview I think the tables are quite accurate...

Any chance of you adding hardness ratings (with your durometer) to that table haggisv?

Yes good idea! I tend to add them as I open them (to glue them onto a bat for someone) as the packets are sealed, so I don't want to cut open a packet just to take the measurement... I'm back into the habit of measuring them again, so I'll hopefully have most of them soon... I added a few recently already...

NOt sure I buy into all of the data in the Donic rubber table. Platin is substantially harder than Gold, there is no doubt about that, and I doubt that Silver is softer than F1.

I thought both felt quite soft... coming from a Globe 999 Nat

I doubt there is a lot in it, but I'll definitely check next time I glue one...

It's possible that the table refers to how it feels in play, not the actual hardness...
