Hey rokphish2!

I noticed you use Pluto! That's a fun rubber!

I used it in ox. It creates knuckleballs. And it's great against serves and good for quick hitting!

What are your thoughts on that rubber? Do you use sponge?

Hey Glenn!
I used to use it with 1mm sponge, but last time they didn't have the sponge in stock and had to use 0.8 mm instead. So far so good and gets better with time. I tried the original 1.5 mm several times but found it too fast for me. Tried using def blades and still found it too fast for me. I played semi def so that's probably why. The 1.5 probably works better for more attack oriented play. I can attack fine with 0.8/1.0 so no complain there. Works well with serve receive and also chopping.

Haven't tried it ox so far. Might give it a try one of these days.

Have you use it with sponge before?

Hey rokphish2!

I tried the Pluto with a 1.5mm sponge, but it was when I was new to pips and I didn't understand the totally different throw angle of a medium pip. (So i lacked patience) Since then I have used about 3 different pips in ox, and now I understand. There is something to be said in a positive way about using a rubber that is very different. And Pluto is a good one!
