Yes it's already on order... not sure when we get it though, might still be more than a month away, assuming they have stock :(

I would not mind, but unfortunately Nittaku have a sole distributor in AU, and these are the only ones that the manufacturer will sell to :(

I guess that would be Aussie Table Tennis...and they don't stock Pryde 30 or 40 either...

Why do the TT manufacturers grant sole distributorships for an entire country? Is it so there is no price competition? Is this not illegal against the Trade Practices Act? Haggisv, have you ever checked this out?

I think it is easier for the manufacturers to talk to only one company to represent them in a country. Larger commitment, larger trade volumes, less paperwork.

For the distributor, pricing may be good. Advertising could be done nationwide to help promote the brand, without 'helping' the competition.

Whats wrong with one company being agent for a product ? nothing
it helps them survive
its a working relationship that promotes growth
it can reduce costs and allow sponsorship (to players and events)
every one can't sell all the brands

I was interested in buying training table tennis balls in bulk, to practice serves with, but couldn't find any in the online shop. Too bulky to ship?
