Hi

my red rubber has started to peel at the edges and I was browsing the shop to see if I could buy some regular glue to stick it back together.

The best candidate looked like the following:

***********************************
DHS 50ml VOC free glue
Designed by Chinese T.T. Team & DHS Technology Centre

No hazards and excellent elasticity while the ball speed enhanced after gluing. The elasticity will be increases gradually after repetitive gluing.

Instructions:

Brush the glue on the blade and rubber equally with sponge brush inside the package. When the glue is air dried and transparent you can stick it onto the blade.

Please shake the bottle before you use the glue
Brush the glue into a single direction
Soak the sponge brush in water and clean it after usage ASAP
If required you can use a hair-dryer to accelerate the airing of the glue.

**********************************

But I was rather confused by the description.
First of all, why does it talk about the speed being enhanced after gluing??
And why does it talk about "repetitive gluing"???

Is this then some sort of speed glue and not to be used for reattaching the rubber to the blade?

Confused
PK

They claim repetative gluing speeds up the rubber...perhaps there are some marginal effects but nothing sigificant IMO.

Its really just regular glue, suitable for attaching your rubber to your blade.
